ONE-

I do things impulsively. Really impulsively, and for no real reason. Like once I ate a marshmallow dipped in ketchup because I suddenly had the notion that it was tasteless. :P I decided to give all my Barbie dolls a haircut, too. So they ended up bald. :D Impulsive shopping happens also. There was this one time I put random liquids into a blender (shampoo, milk, perfume, milo, vinegar, etc.) and poured it on the plants in the garden.

TWO-

I like holding my feet when sitting down. Or when indian-sitting. When i’m really comfortable, I hold one of my feet. I don’t know why. It just happens. :D

THREE-

I never finish what I begin. Unless it’s really short, and unless it’s required. I started around six diaries, came close to finishing one, and lost the others. (Now i’m only doing one. But it isn’t finished yet. :D ) Every summer I start a mini-comic. That’s..three mini comics started, not counting this year. And the stories. *_* Gah. Don’t get me started.

FOUR-

I can’t sleep without an embrace pillow! Ok, it’s possible for me to fall asleep without one, but I can never sleep comfortably in my own bed without hugging something. I’ve had an embrace pillow since birth (I think) and it just feels so sad and empty without one. Extra warmth, softness…mmm. ^_^

FIVE-

I believe that, if you think about the things you want to dream about before you sleep, they won’t appear in your dream. So if I want to dream of a certain event, I try not to think about it, so it’ll pop up in the fuzzy-transition moments of falling asleep. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. :D

SIX-

I can’t eat wet fish. Or fish soup. Or baked fish. Anything involving fish that is damp, wet, stewed…Gah. Somehow I end up throwing it up or not finishing it. I don’t feel the need to expound on the evileness of wet fish eaten as food. >_<

I tag robert, ria, patrick, erik, garrick, and zyrelle. :)

ahhh! wait-

SEVEN-

I talk in my sleep. That’s how my dad found out who my crush was in 5th grade. -_-  I say random things like, “No, nooo!!” or, “What time is it?” Dad always tries to hold a conversation with me while i’m asleep, but it’s only worked once. :P

Hannah: *mumble*

Dad: What’s my name?

Hannah: Emmanuel…Portugal..

Dad: Very good.

Hannah: *falls asleep*

^_^ It’s almost 3 am. Goodnight, people. Or rather, good morning :)

Drowning In Ice Cream

Hannah is feverish.

Today went on like blah. A day at the Podium for Abigail’s birthday treat with a few friends. Spiderman 3, painting hats at Hobbes and Landes, and crepe. I ate seven pieces of sushi for lunch and filled in later with the crepes. I’d lost my apetite somewhere between 11 and 11:50.

The movie wasn’t that great. From reading past reviews, I learned not to get my hopes up. A singing MJ freaked me out at the beginning, and then, everything settled into place. But it felt awkward, because there was just too much going on. The subplots were a bit much, and a bit shallow. I wish they had concentrated on one wonderful, deep supervillain instead of messing around with three. And Emo Spidey was entertaining for a while, but soon it seemed every fight sequence, every tired exchange between Peter and Mary Jane dragged on until forever. The part at the end, with Peter and Harry and MJ was a lovely scene, though. It should have ended there.

But I loved Bryce Dallas Howards’ hair. o_o Sooo pretty and blonde.

We marched off to Hobbes and Landes after that. Abigail’s presents included her coveted Pokemon booster packs, and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. It’s funny, though. I had that book before, and used to scare her before bedtime, with stories of the rats of nimh being giant, hungry creatures with red eyes, waiting outside the window to eat children. And she believed it. :D I luff trusting sisters.

But hey, my apprentice is twelve, almost a teenager. Time doth fly, and all of a sudden, I feel so old.

I admit, I’m not in a good mood. The air is hot, and I want nothing more than to drown in ice cream. But Kat’s invite came in the mail, and cheered me up a little. I browsed through the bookstore (Ink and Stone) while the children and the parental units were crepe-feasting nearby. It felt small and a little empty. But I have an oversized hat with silver paint, a blog to turn to, and a little sister to drag to R13 movies when the time comes. (YesH. No more excuses to not watch Pan’s Labyrinth. -_-)

May 10. Last summer, that was the day we left New Jersey for home. This summer, it’ll be the day I run back to the way things were.
